Captain Bobo
John Sessions
Although most of you will have heard the very sad news of John Sessions’ far too early death, we know John loved working on the Captain Bobo series. He loved ships and characters and his performance conveys the warmth and sense of fun that marked his whole career. We are privileged to be able to share his final complete work with you. He was delighted to have used his many talents in the narration of The Adventures of Captain Bobo and had great fun making Captain Bobo and all the characters come to life. John was due to be interviewed by Kay the following day for the radio and we are very sad that this was not to be. However, Captain Bobo and Arran Sound are forever a small part of John’s extensive legacy; we are the poorer for his passing.
