Role 1 - Village Reporter (AS1)

We are keen to provide community news on the radio and to promote island life. We are looking for village reporters to provide regular news and feature items of what is happening in your part of the island. 

Essential 

• Keep up with all the local happenings in your area. 
• Cover a wide variety of stories 
• Conduct interviews 

• Plan, edit, and write stories and articles to be broadcast 
• Verify information provided by interviewees  
• Finalise news content  
• Work to deadlines
• Follow news events and other media sources to stay informed 

Desirable 

• Passion about writing and creating interesting stories  
• Good communication and research skills 
• Team player 
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
