Over the summer Arransound.com will be running a number of competitions with great prizes.
Our first one is the BIG STORY WRITING COMPETITiON launching on 30th May 2021.
Arransound.com has been broadcasting Barb Taub’s hilarious and informative books over the last month and listeners have told us how much they are enjoying Barb’s readings.
We thought that as some of you have previously sent in poems and stories to Arransound.com, you might like to have a go at something a little more adventurous.
So, can YOU write a story as good as those by Barb Taub? Can YOU make us laugh out loud? Can YOU describe in vivid detail a place or event so amazingly that you create a picture in our minds of disastrous mayhem or an epically unforgettable experience?
Maybe something went hilariously wrong or fabulously right? Whatever and whichever it is, if YOU think you can write an interesting description of YOUR holiday then please get down to writing YOUR story right now and share your holiday dramas with Arransound.com
The competition is to write a short chapter, based on YOUR holiday experiences, real or imagined, at home or abroad. Barb herself will be judging them and will narrate the winning story and runners up, on Arransound.com
The winner and runners up will also win a copy of Barb's book,"Life begins when the kids leave home and the dog dies", with the supreme winner receiving the fabulous and absolutely latest, Kindle Fire Tablet
